MCS International Co. Ltd is one of the first companies established by MCS group and it is specialized in power, automation and energy savings. The company conducts wide-ranging operations from consultancy, sales and procurement of state-of-the-art energy equipment to implementing turnkey power projects with up-to-date technology.

Currently, MCS International Co. Ltd is the only private corporate entity certified to the ISO 9001 standard in the Mongolian energy sector.

MCS International Co. Ltd has participated in co-financing and implementation of the number of extensive and significant projects funded by bilateral government cooperation programs, international financial institutions and the Mongolian Government, namely:

  • Energy master plan and capacity building for energy planning
  • Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition (SCADA), National Dispatching Center, Ulaanbaatar city
  • Application of electric power prepaid system, Ulaanbaatar city
  • District heating supply system renovation, Darkhan city
  • Renovation of  I & C system, Electric Power Plants # 3 and 4 in Ulaanbaatar city, and Cogeneration Power Plant in Choibalsan city
  • Energy sector program # 1, establishment of a new Load Dispatching System in the Central Energy System
  • Energy sector program # 1, renovation of 110-kV switchyards
  • Feasibility study and project supervision, Taishir Hydro-Power Plant
  • Design and Construction of 110-kV high-voltage electric power transmission lines and 110/35/10-kV substations between Bulgan and Murun (292 km), Arvaikheer and Bayankhongor through Bayanteeg (205 km) that connect the aimags/provinces to the central grid on a BOT basis.
  • Cogeneration Power Plant # 4,  Phase 2, Rehabilitation project of 4x100 MW Turbine Generator’s excitation system and 4x 420 t/h boiler firing system with associated electrical and I&C parts.
